This user guide provides step-by-step instructions to revert a cancelled procedure, ensuring the procedure can continue as scheduled.

Understanding Terminologies

Procedure Cancellation

Procedure cancellation is the action of officially stopping or terminating a scheduled procedure before it is completed. This may occur at the request of the patient or the provider, and it typically triggers any associated policies, such as refund processing or rescheduling.

Revert a Procedure Cancellation

  1. A cancelled procedure will appear in the “Scheduled” section of the EMR Board with a “Cancelled” status. To revert it, hover over “Cancelled” and select “In Procedure” from the dropdown menu.
  2. The cancelled procedure will now appear in the “In Procedure” section. Hover over “Procedure Actions” and select the desired action to proceed and complete the procedure.
