What is Patient Wallet and How to Track Patient Wallet Usage?
This user guide provides instructions on efficiently viewing patient wallets and tracking wallet usage in the DigiMEDSPA Portal.
Understanding Terminologies
Patient Wallet
A patient wallet is a digital balance within the patient's profile in the DigiMEDSPA Portal, that stores funds, credits, or rewards for the patient. Patients can use it to pay for services, products, or memberships.
Wallet Usage
Wallet usage refers to tracking transactions, including fund additions, deductions, and redemptions, to monitor how a patient’s wallet balance is utilized over time.
Viewing Patient Wallet in the Patient Profile
- Users can view patient wallets through the Patients List, accessible via three entry points.
- From the patient list, click on three dots under the action column and select "View Patient Profile" for the specific patient.
- On the Patient Profile page, users can access a comprehensive summary of all patient details. To view the patient wallet, simply click on the ‘Wallet’ tab.
- The Patient Wallet will open, showing a list of all wallet items, including dollar credits, products, and services with their prices, along with the total amount the patient needs to pay.
Tracking Patient Wallet Usage
- The Patient Wallet in the patient profile also includes a Wallet Usage section, which tracks all transactions related to the wallet. Click on the "View All" option to open a detailed history of wallet activity.
- The Patient Wallet Usage list will open, displaying a detailed history of all past transactions, including credits, quantities purchased, payments, deductions and debit details.
