Manage Booking Notifications

This user guide provides instructions on how to view and edit booking notifications. It covers customizing the content of SMS and email notifications to ensure patients receive clear and accurate booking details, reminders, and required paperwork. In our portal, users can view and edit existing notifications, while only admins have permission to create new ones.

Understanding Terminologies

Booking Notification

A booking notification is an automated message sent via email or SMS to inform patients about their booking. It may include confirmation, reminders, cancellations, rescheduling updates, and any required paperwork related to the booking.

View Booking Notifications

  1. The user can view the booking notifications by accessing the Notifications List Screen via two entry points.
    1. From the EMR Panel, click on “Notifications” under “Notifications.’’
    2. From the Left Navigation, open the “EMR Admin” dropdown, select “Notifications,” and then choose “Notifications” from the subsequent dropdown menu.
  2. To view a notification, click anywhere on the notification data or click the three dots under the action column and select "View" for the specific notification.
  3. The view screen will display Notification Details along with Variables and their Descriptions.
Note: The service deposit is always less than the total price of the service, as it serves as an advance payment to secure the booking.

Edit Booking Notifications

  1. There are two ways to edit an existing booking notification.
    1. From the notifications list, click on three dots under the action column and select "Edit" for the specific notification.
    2. From the View Notification Details Screen, click on ‘’Edit Notification’’ in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Make the desired changes in the notification. Once done, click “Update Notification.’’
Note: Only the Email and SMS Content fields are editable. The Name, Subject, Variables, and Description are read-only and cannot be modified.
